Changes in clearcase view not reflected in build agent work dir

Team city 4.5, clearcase 7.0.1, windows 2003
Builds are failing as a new folder has been added to the project which is referenced in the build script. The new folder is present in the team city snapshot clearcase view. But is not in the work directory used by the build agent. So the change has not been seen by team city and so the files not copied to the build work area?
Several questions.
Any ideas why this happens?
Is there a way to force an update of the build agent work directory?

Regards,
John

Just to add, In the work area is a solution .sln.cache file, along with the sln file. The cache file does refer to the added directory/csproj file.

Also, when I go on to the server and update the view, I get a message that an update is already running. Not sure where that other update has come from - TeamCity?
Have removed the caches under .buildServer. And enforced clean build - though the box is ticked in the VCS settings to do this but seems to be ignored.

Hi,

Can you please provide me your TC server debug logs? I need the "teamcity-clearcase.log" and "teamcity-vcs.log" files. See http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/TCD4/Reporting+Issues#ReportingIssues-VersionControlDebugLogging for information about enabling debug logging on your server.

Also you can try to install the last version of TC - it contains several ClearCase fixes.

Maxim,
I have switched on logging so should have something over the next few days.

Maxim,

I have a few days of log messages. Files are large - about 10MB. What do I need to look for - having skimed through I see no error messages from ClearCase.

John,

Is it possible to send these logs by e-mail?
