Audit log question - 6.5 EAP

Hi,

Anyone know if the new feature to provide the last change made to a build configuration is configurable to see all history?  I know on the file system it only seems to keep the last 3 project files around.  Is this configuration in the 6.5 EAP?  How far back are the changes recorded?  At the moment if someone made 4 changes, each a different save the 1st change is lost which could have been the reason the build broke.  Having all the history of the build configuration would be really helpful.  Any information on this feature would be great.

Thanks,
Jay

Hi Jason

You can see the history on Adminstration|Audit page.
There is a filter to show only edit actions.

How far back in history are the edits stored?

Michael,

Any plans to add some indicator or something in the build results page letting the user know something changed in the build configuration for this build?  It would help diagnose if a build failed at what build it was made at.  For example say you have a Build Type called BuildA.  Say BuildA has failed the last 5 times, if you could go back to the first failure and be able to see that there were Build Configuration edits made, this would be something you can see on the Build Results page, maybe as a Tab or some indicator stating there were build configuration changes made.  This could reduce the amount of time spent diagnosing a failure which is very important to a lot of folks.  What you think?  Have you guys had any talk about adding such a thing?  If not, I'll create a feature request for it.

Thanks,
Jay

By default they are stored for 1 year.

I see you've found it already, but if anyone else is interested in this feature - please vote/comment for TW-1841.
