svn: OPTIONS request failed

I set up a VCS root (successfully) for my SVN repo a few weeks ago. Things were working fine, I could checkout and build with no problem through TC.
I log in today and have connection issues, TC is saying: svn: OPTIONS request failed on '/svn/my-repo/trunk'

For the record, my repo is located remotely, which shouldn't be a problem, as this was just working a few days ago through TC.

I'm running TC under Windows 7, it's running under an Administrator account. I can access SVN just fine through my standard Windows account or my Administrator account with TortoiseSVN, even while I'm seeing this problem in TC. For this reason, I believe this is a TC issue and not an SVN issue.

Finally, it doesn't seem to matter if I have Use default config directory checked or not. The problem happens either way.

What could be going on?

Also, this is the stacktrace TC is reporting for the error:

Why is TC having trouble finding the host for my repo? TortoiseSVN has no trouble doing so.

Hi Rob,

a simple workaround may be using ip address instead of host name. we resolved our problem this way. hope it helps you too.

Sadik,

So far no thoughts on the reason of the error.
I'd try restarting TeamCIty server process to see if that helps.

I am getting the same problems. The setting used to work but this morning it started giving me the following error:

svn: connection refused by the server
svn: OPTIONS request failed on '/svn'

I am sure that I've entered the right credentials.

Hi

Please recheck that SVN repository is accessible from TeamCity server machine?
What TeamCity version do you use? There were related fixes in recent versions.

Hi Michael,

The problem has been resolved. It had nothing to do with TeamCity. Our server was resolving to the wrong IP address for some strange reason.

Regards,

David
