Sybase Database Case Insensitivity Not Possible

Hello. I was wondering if anyone knew what the consequences are for using a 'case sensitive table names'

sybase database for TeamCity instead of a case insensitive one, as mentioned in the wiki.

http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/TCD65/Setting+up+an+External+Database

The problem is that our database server has other databases which rely on case sensitivity.

Since case sensitivity is a server wide setting, changing it would disrupt other databases.

I was not able to find a way to set a single database on a server as case insensitive.

Hello,

sorry for delay.

Since version 6.5, TeamCity doesn't require case sensitive database for a clear installation. Thank you for the note - I've corrected the documentation.

Best regards,

Sorry, that was my mistake.

TC 6.5 really requires a database with case-insensitive table and field names.

TC doesn't require that since version 7.
