Slow server startup [Solved]

Hi,

I've been using TeamCity 7.0.2 for a few weeks now, but have noticed a large increase in my server startup times.
I've got a machine currently restarting at the moment.
It's been running since 10:10am this morning, and still hasn't finished (it's now 10:52)

Checking the server logs, I can see that the last message was written at 10:22
[2012-05-21 10:10:53,305]   INFO -   jetbrains.buildServer.SERVER - Start loading server configuration...

Any ideas what could be causing this startup slowness? and seemingly unresponsiveness?
I can provide other logs if that helps?

Thanks

Hi Jim

What version control system do you use?
Could you also attach teamcity-vcs.log please.

Hi Michael,

We're using Subversion as our version control system (1.7 if that makes any difference)
I'll attach the vcs log for you.

I feel this is somehow related to us still using the internal storage engine for our server, I've made the move to mySQL, but am awaiting our IT department upgrading our mySQL server version to 5.1.49 or higher to verify whether that's resolved it.

Does that sound like it could be causing the slowdown?
The table import for the move to mySQL imported over 1,500,000 test results for example.

Thanks,

This issue can be considered closed.
Porting the server's internal storage over to mySQL reduced the server startup time to less than 10 seconds.

Thanks.
