Hi,

Please let us know if someone is looking into this, and if this is really an issue (or we have done something wrong)?

Thanks,
Manoj.

Hello,

Please check your build agent machine runs under appropriate user account.
There could be some COM objects or GAC placed assemblies that are available on the dev machine, but not available in the build agent.

To make a simple check,
please log in to the build agent machine under the same user account as you use for build agent and try running
the build from commandline (i.e., msbuild.exe solution.sln /p:Configuration=Release /t:Rebuild)

I also noticed you installs NuGet packages from custom-implemented .bat file. Most likely, this installation does not
call install.ps1 script in package during installation. Please check this installation does not involve some
assemblies registrations.

Thanks Eugene for the reply.

It looks like the build order which TC follows could be different than what is visible in Visual Studio. I had to keep the pre-build event in the project file which TC was building the first.
I am not sure if that's what solved the problem, but now the build is running fine.

Regards,
Manoj.
