Quick Question - Add Build Comments to build in queue

Can you add a Build Comment to a build that is already in the Build Queue (and waiting to be built)?  This build would have been placed in the queue by a build trigger and is being held in the queue by a plugin I developed specifically for our setup.

I see where I can add a Build Comment if I manually start the build, and I see where I can add a Build Comment after a build is done.  I don't see any place to add a Build Comment from the Build Queue though.
