Build a solution -partially-

Hi guys,

I am working with TC for a school project, where we do some coding in C#. Everything was great until we got the following infamous error:

  • InvalidOperationException: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL

Now, the thing is, that this exception is triggered by one of the projects in our solution.
This project is actually not needed to run the tests on TC, but is still compiled with the solution simply because it makes part of it.

I was wondering if (and how) I could configure TC to not compile by reading the .sln, but instead compile by only reading a number of .csproj files, that are necessary for testing and do not give me this error.
If this is not possible, what would you think is the best approach?

Cheers,

Jesse

Jesse,

If you can figure out a way to do that with MSBuild, you can then use TeamCity build runner to build your project.
