Changing logging location

Hi,

I recently decided to use TeamCity but in the process of installing it on one of my servers it wants to log to /../logs which in my case resolves to /var/lib/logs, while I should have been /var/logs/$NAME which of cause would be TeamCity for name.

Its conventional for logs to recide here so and it concerns me to make an exception for TeamCity since it would make system administration sort of, messy in the long run.

Does anyone have any idea how I could configurate TeamCity or Log4J to use the proper logging location?
I've scourered the net for some time now without luck. I might be using the wrong search string, but I've never used anything utilizing Log4J or been in the need of configurating it.

I hope theres a kind soul out there who's in the position to help me out :)
