Test Connection - Connection Failed!

Hi,


I installed TeamCity and I am trying to configure the email settings.  I am running on Windows Server 2008 R2.


I have tried to connect to my corporate server and I am getting this error in a Test Connection pop up box that has Connection Failed! in red:
javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: 535 5.7.3 Authentication unsuccessful

I am using for credentials my Domain\username and my domain password.




As a second alternative I also created a Gmail account to see if that would work.

When I try to test the connection I get a connection timeout error.

For Gmail I was using:
  smtp.gmail.com
  465
  someaddress@gmail.com
  someaddress@gmail.com
  password for xyz
  SSL
I then enter a valid to email address


Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?  There is a proxy server for the company but I don't see in the instructions or in the TeamCity screens how I would enter that information.
