Different JDKs for differen Projects or Branches

Hi,
we have two JDKs (versions 7 and 8 while the default is 7 as setup with update-java-alternatives under ubuntu) installed on TC Master and on the slaves. Ssome projects need to be build with JDK7 and others need to be build with JDK8. How can i setup which JDK to use for a project? Altough the default ist JDK7 the JDK8 is always used during the builds. Is there any kind of switch for projects (like the JDK option in Jenkins) or even branches (i work on a branch with changes for java8 while all other branches must still be build with java7) to tell the project wich JDK to use?
Kind regards,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

What type of runner do you use? For example for Ant, Maven, Intellij IDEA project, etc. runners you can configure advanced option JAVA parameters.
It is not possible to configure branch specific parameters now, please watch and vote for the feature request.

Hi Alina,
thank you very much for your help. At least the option to use different JDKs for different branches for different projects work. I will check the feature request because a branch is really typical to test a new technology like Java 8.
Kind regards,
Andreas
