Exclude VCS root from "Changes" display

I have a build that contains a couple of VCS roots.  The build and project pages have a column that shows all the changes that exist in both those VCS roots.  Is it possible to configure TeamCity to exclude one of the VCS roots from listing its changes in that column, while continuing to show changes in the other VCS root?  I'd like to do this because only one of the VCS roots really matter when investigating what changed in a build; the changes in the other VCS root is just noise.  I know that the VCS Build Trigger has a way to exclude particular roots from change tracking, so I am hoping a similar feature exists for the changes display.

Thanks,
KPF

Hi Kyle,

It is not possible to hide "Changes" now. You can configure Checkout Rules, but in this case the files won't be checked out for the build on agent.
Please watch/vote for the related feature request: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-17572

Is it still not possible? 2018

No, this feature is still not available. We also have a separate feature request here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-15746 for what seems exactly this situation.

Please consider that while we understand there are some situations where this might be useful, the "other VCS root is just noise" is a very corner case. Most of the time, even the "noise" can cause a build to fail, and hiding the changes from that one might precisely lead to problems trying to identify what happened.
