TeamCity 9.1.5 and NUnit 3 working directory

Answered

When I run my unit tests using the built in nunit runner it runs the unit tests in the top level checkout directory rather than the bin\Release directory

Starting: "C:\Program Files (x86)\NUnit.org\nunit-console\nunit3-console.exe" C:\TeamCity\buildAgent\temp\buildTmp\qHIzDcbpDWHWyX2j78ykbrYfOlGbophm.nunit --work=C:\TeamCity\buildAgent\work\b09fe276e1437e6d --noresult --noheader --where "cat!='XXX XXX'" --framework=net-4.0 --process=InProcess Promapp.Test/bin/Release/XXX.Test.dll
[14:51:40][Step 4/6] in directory: C:\TeamCity\buildAgent\work\b09fe276e1437e6d

Note that In Directory tag line...I want that to be ...\Test.Project\bin\Release\.

How can I set this via TeamCity, tried everything with no luck.

Hi Ruskin,

The ability to specify "working directory" will be added in TeamCity 10.0 (and 10.0 EAP2) version. Please see the request https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-44188.
