Rollback "Check for Changes" Within Versioned Settings (TC9)

I set up the TC project out of order, where I setup the VCS root without auth (until the user was made), and enabled versioned settings for a project using Anonymous. The initial commit (obviously) failed, but then after I got everything setup properly, the "initial commit" did not happen again, but instead the VCS root changing caused a commit of just the affected files (not the entire project hierarchy). This didn't make sense to me (and I did not have access to the "Commit current project settings button), and I saw the Change Log commits. I then clicked the Check for Changes button, expecting it to compare TC and the settings in the repo, but instead it overrode what was on the server, and now I've lost half of my TC settings. (I was expecting a dialog of "What would you like to do with these changes?")

So my question is, can I revert this "Check for Changes?" How can I get my TC settings back?
