Users profile settings inside teamcity not saving after AD Sync

I am having an issue with my on prem install when AD syncs all user custom profile settings are cleared and all users logged out. This can be system theme, their email and custom check boxes for preferences. Any idea what could cause this?

The sync is set to happen every 60minutes. All users are logged out, and all profile preferences are cleared.

Sorry about the delayed response here. It sounds like the sync removes your users and recreates them; can you please enable debug-ldap logging preset, run sync and share the resulting teamcity-ldap.log? You may use uploads.jetbrains.com to upload the log file in a private manner - just let me know the upload ID once this is done.
