Rider+TFS+TeamCity Remote run

We now have VS+TFS and using Teamcity remote run. However, when trying to switch to Rider we are stuck on getting remote runs to work.

We get "Suitable build configurations with non-manual VCS checkout mode in which you have permissions to start the builds were not found for the specified changes.".

As far as I can tell, the configuration is ok. I cannot seem to find any references to if this is supported or not.

Is this supposed to work? Or is there feature request I have to vote for?
