Maven update from 2.x to 3.x on Teamcity 8.0.6

Hi everyone,

I have a TeamCity Professional 8.0.6 server running and wanted to upgrade the bundled Maven to its newest version without updating TeamCity.

Is there any possibility to update the bundled Maven without actually updating the whole TeamCity instance?

Hi Timo,

I'm afraid not, changing the maven version in use was introduced in 2017.1: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-19690

There are workarounds, as described in this older thread: https://teamcity-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/207212409-Adding-new-Maven-version
