build stuck on "Updating sources:" on a private git repo
I have seen several topics that show the increase of the internal property workaround. Tried it but still the build stucks on Updating source. I am using version 10.0.4 (build 42538)

How large is your repo? Does it contain anything special (such as large files, etc)? If you log in to the agent machine with the same user teamcity uses, and run the command, does it work properly? How long does it take in this case?
Found the issue and what was causing it. It was authentication of github.
