Add step number on Build Steps page

I've got TeamCity installed and working, and will be nice to see a build step number (row number) on Build Configuration Settings -> Build Steps page. Any idea how to do that or maybe this option is being prepared.

I'm not sure I fully understand the question. If you go to build configuration settings - build step, and have multiple steps, it already shows the step number in the title, and the total number of steps both there and in the build configuration menu:

a quick heads up. If you meant that the step number isn't shown in the "build steps" page where the overview of all the steps is shown, that's currently not possible. You might want to put a feature request in our tracker for it: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/TW
