I've created an issue for this case: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-53483. As a workaround you can leave .dist file unmodified - actually modifying this file is not needed at all.

Usually zero in JaCoCo coverage means you've run the coverage several times or with incorrect binaries location. Please check your build steps and coverage filters. Also you can check .teamcity/cov...

Hello, Since 9.1.1 TeamCity uses JaCoCo 0.7.5.201505241946. You can update your gradle script to use same JaCoCo tool version.
