Any update on per-branch configurations?

There is the teamcity.internal.versionedSettings.modifyDependencies setting, but it is "experimental".

I'm currently asking JetBrains to see if this setting has any guarantees of stability. In other words, what guarantee is there that this feature doesn't get removed or change behavior? Can this be made public and official so we can use it in our production instance?
