FileManagerExtensionHolder and CustomFileHandler?

Are there any examples of how to use these interfaces from the TC openapi? It looks like it should be possible to use these to push files from the server to the agents, but there are no examples for these, no obvious ways to call them or to register the handlers on either side of the connection. Help?
