I have a project which contains above 5000 files under source control (ClearCase VCS).
TeamCity needs 50 minutes to get them during the build. So, I am looking for way to accelerate it.
~2000 of my 5000 file are documentation and images - and there is no need for Server and Build Agents to get and even monitor them.
For ClearCase the way to exclude some files from being loaded from VCS is to specify correspondent "Load Rules" for View. (From ClearCase Explorer (GUI tool) I can do it from tab "Load Rules" from "View Properties" dialog window). The settings I provide there are used later in "update view" operation (files and folders I exluded are not appered in the view).
But, TeamCity ClearCase support doesn't apply them (load rules):
1) under restricted "Load Rules" it gets all VCS content
2) under restricted "Load Rules" it recognizes changes in not loaded by view part (and, for instance, start build in case of "start build on VCS check-in" option)
May be I do smth wrong?
If I am right - will the support for "Load Rules" be added and when can I excpect it?(50 minutes on getting sources - it is not acceptably)
