Searching for tags on TeamCity not working - possibly because using sqlserver

Hi,

I've tagged some builds, but when searching for those tags using e.g. "t: [tagname]" or "$t" I get the result "No builds found".

This worked when we had a server which used TC's internal database, but on our current server we're using SqlServer.

Wondered if anyone else had experienced the same problem, and had any solutions?

Thanks.

Hi Rashid,

What type and version of database do you use? Please double check that finished builds with such tags really exist.

Hi Alina,

We're using Microsoft SQL Server 2012, v 11.0.2100, 64-bit.

I can confirm that finished builds with such tags definitely exist :)

Here is a select Top 10 query straight from the build_state_tag table:

build_state_id     tag

34823   APass

36152   console

36938   console

37705   console

37725   console

33295   contextmenu

34746   contextmenu

34933   contextmenu

35325   contextmenu

35628   contextmenu

We have 88 entries in total in that table.

Thanks,

Rashid

Hi Rashid,

Are you sure that you didn't experience this issue on the internal database?
