Email Notification Office365 Account Fail

Hello everyone,

I apologize if this seems like a novice question, but I am currently having issues attempting to set up email notifications with my company's Office365 account and have been trying to fix this for a week with no success. I managed to successfully set up email notification through gmail, but it seems once given a dedicated office365 account I keep receiving this message:

com.sun.mail.util.MailConnectException: Couldn't connect to host, port:, 587; timeout 60000;
  nested exception is:

At the bottom you can see I have my credentials set as described for sending messages from office365 accounts:

If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance

It looks similar to the one I have at our server with office 365
1. check the account is accepting smtp connection
2. Try with another smtp client to see whether you are able to connect to the server with those credentials

Thank you Yoram for your reply. From talking with others, the solution may have to involve us setting up SMTP services on an IIS box to try and route our Office365 account. Not sure if it will work though, but I will try your recommendations as well
